This game was created by one of the students completing our Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Creative Media (Game Development). Where their Project was to make a 3D Game where they design, develop and test their game they have created throughout the year.

Story:

The player will wake trapped within a cell, forgetting all memory of how he arrived there. The game will slowly reveal how he arrived. Through completing puzzles and entering system PCs you will find out you was selected to be kidnapped to represent your city. Overtime you’ll work out it was a government facility all along which monitored how humans would act under this specific circumstance. At the end of the game, you have the option between stopping the game, or continuing it and taking the cash at the end.

Level 1:

This level begins in the 1^st cell of block A where the player will have to solve their first puzzle, this puzzle is based around a keycode on the door. The player will have to decode or use other ways to get through the door. In other cell rooms there will be different items which can be obtained changing how

Mood board/References:

When creating mood boards, it’s important to find relevant pictures for the theme you’re going for, I will achieve this by creating several mind maps about style, characters, weapons and HUDs. By creating these I can ensure a higher quality overall experience for the user.

Camera Movement

This script works alongside the player movement, this script allows the mouse movement to be translated into directions.

I have capped the camera rotation on the X axis at -90, and 90, this means that the player can look directly up and directly down, this makes it much more realistic.

I have hidden the cursor and locked it in the middle, so the player can still interact with everything.
